Crew Member - Part Time

PT - 16-25 Hours Total

The Flavor Station, LLC, is a small business in Columbia, SC. We are rapidly growing and looking to add a new Crew Member! We are fast-paced, innovative, inclusive and our goal is to provide desserts of the highest quality with every order. At The Flavor Station, we are dedicated to providing our valued customers with fresh, delicious homemade rolled ice cream and treats one cup at a time. 

Our Crew Members will have advancement opportunities within a growing company. And as a direct reflection of our company, we take immense pride in providing adequate training and resources needed in order to perform the role. 

Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide samples

  • Take orders and assist on the register

  • Assist with orders by crafting made-to-order rolled ice cream, preparing mini donut orders,  serving coffee, etc

  • Refill sauces, cream and restock all inventories

  • Assist with opening activities and daily cleaning as well as closing and closing cleaning

  • Maintain cleanliness of workspace and all operational areas


Requirements and Qualifications

  • US Work Authorization

  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must pass background check 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Prior cashier experience a plus

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Communicate effectively with management regarding availability 

  • Maintain a friendly demeanor, upbeat, positive attitude, willingness to work hard

  • Contribute to the team and company by helping to create an inclusive, safe, upbeat culture for co-workers, management, and customers

  • Demonstrate listening skills, respect, and carry out tasks in a timely manner. Have  a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively

  • Willing to learn new skills, adapts well to changing environment, menu items, flow of business
